Readers fed up with expat squabbles

Dear Sir,

Since moving to Lakeside almost four years ago, I have enjoyed reading the Guadalajara Reporter. It has been very helpful in keeping the expatriates informed of what is going on in our Mexican community.

Chula Vista: We need harmony

Dear Sir,

Harmony must come back to our Chula Vista Association. As a long-term resident, I have enjoyed living in this beautiful area, where everything used to flow smoothly. We had good services and friendly, respectable neighbors and were always managed by efficient boards.

Disputing and clarifying Chula Vista

Dear Sir,

Despite the fact that I’m sure your readers are fed up with reading about squabbles in the expatriate community, I feel I must respond to Werner Zuercher’s recent letter concerning Chula Vista.  I could dispute and clarify each of the issues he raises; however, most of these issues boil down to interpretations of By-laws, regulations, Robert’s Rules of Order and Jalisco Civil Law and quite frankly, most people don’t care.

Positive police story

Dear Sir,

We hear often enough about negative encounters with police officers while driving.  Here is a positive story.

Weighing in on the Chula Vista situation

Dear Sir,

As a long-time resident of Chula Vista, I read with great interest Dale Hoyt Palfrey’s article regarding the very serious problems of our Homeowners Association.
