The small island in the mouth of Puerto Vallarta’s River Cuale will host the second Festival del Cuale from January 22 to 31. Almost 200 artists gathered for last year’s inaugural event, which attracted around 30,000 visitors.

Daily music, dance and theatrical shows are planned, with at least two to three hours of fun each evening, starting around 5 p.m. There are also children’s shows, workshops, guided tours of the island, poetry readings and historical conferences.

Locations for the events are the Island Museum, the auditorium and the seafront palapa.
