Marvel Elizabeth Conner died in her San Antonio Tlayacapan home on December 31 at the age of 90.
Born December 31, 1919, in Bancroft, South Dakota, Conner married Perry Conner in June 1940, in Mitchell, South Dakota. The Conners moved to Montana in 1951, where Marvel worked as a buyer for a local department store in Billings for many years.
She moved with her daughter, Trish Conner, to Lakeside in 1999. She was known in the community for her quick wit and broad sense of humor. She was a member of San Andres Catholic Church in Ajijic.
Her husband preceded her in death. She is survived by her daughter.
Conner will be remembered at a memorial service during the 9 a.m. Mass at San Andres Church on Sunday, January 10.
