Big brother is definitely watching you. At least if you are a Macrobus user.
Security along the city’s Macrobus BRT route has bumped up a couple of notches with the installation of 88 new cameras (making a total of 124) located in the 27 stations along Line One of the route, at a cost of over eight million pesos. Security officers will be able to monitor exactly what is going on 24/7 from the cozy central control room (above) in the Juarez station. Six 42-inch monitors provide real time video footage.
