Community Breakfast
The next Community Network Breakfast is scheduled for Friday, January 15, 9 a.m. (Jalisco time) at the Vallarta Yacht Club in Nuevo Vallarta. Cost per person is 90 pesos, which includes full breakfast and tip. The Yacht Club is located next to the Paradise Village Mall.
Beach party
The Manos de Amor Casa Hogar children’s home will hold its annual cocktail party on Wednesday, January 13, at La Vida Beach Club in Bucerias, from 6-9 p.m. Enjoy appetizers, wine, beer and sodas on the beach. Music will be provided by Rigoberto, playing acoustic guitar. A limited number of tickets will be sold at 300 pesos per person. Tickets can be purchased from Valiene, 329-298-1013, or from Anne Milling, 329-298-1773. Cocktail attire suggested. This event is always sold out so don’t wait. Tickets will not be sold at the door.
Speaker’s night
Amigos de Bucerias is sponsoring a speaker’s night on January 11, 6:30 p.m. at the Bucerias Bilingual Community Center, 16 de Septiembre 48. Juan Carlos Vazquez Elias, manager of the Bucerias Oficina de Migracion, and U.S. Consular Agent Kelly Trainor will answer questions on immigration and other issues.
