The members of the Costalegre Rotary Club were proud to begin construction on a multi-purpose building at the Escuela Primaria Urbana 438 in Barra de Navidad on December 23.
Generous donations from three northern clubs added enough to the local club’s treasury to pay for the entire cost of the classroom. It will serve the 440 students as a library, computer lab and multimedia room.
Construction is expected to be completed within four weeks and the children will use it shortly after returning from their Christmas holidays.
