Members of famed Mexican rock group Mana have penned a book in defense of the environment that will be distributed initially in 600 primary schools from August.

For the past two years, the band has worked with the National Autonmous University of Mexico to create a primary school program dealing with environmental topics. 

The Guadalajara band founded the pro-environment organization Selva Negra 11 years ago. Under its banner, thousands of turtles have been incubated and released into the sea.
