How disappointing it is to see one who is thought to be a fair and conscientious reporter editorializing in such a slanderous way (Laguna Chapalac May 17-23).

The person to whom she was referring is not at all as she describes and has given his valued time to keep Ajijic clean. Others who work with him in this endeavor will be equally affected by this lack of cooperation by a prominent member of our community.

As a possible explanation for her attitude, I can only guess that she may have been so terribly affected by the extreme heat of the day that she was uncomfortable and in a very nasty mood when he knocked at her door.
