Dear Sir,
I was dismayed to read that the "large crowds" at the Chili Cookoff were delighted with the chicken-launching (into space) game. Did this "launching" injure or kill them? Where was the local Humane Society? I cannot comprehend that such a redneck activity "will become a permanent fixture." The chickens declined to comment, and any more of mine would be unprintable.
