Dear Sir,
I often visit Guadalajara during the summer and I enjoy reading The Reporter each week. When in Guadalajara, I always stay at the Hotel Americas on Hidalgo, near the Morelos Park. After reading your story about the planned athletes' village, I am wondering if the hotel is in the demolition zone. I would assume not but it would be reassuring to know David Perry, Alabama You are correct. Neither the Hotel America nor any building on Avenida Hidalgo will be torn down to make way for the Pan American Games athletes' village. |
