As David Suzuki once said, we are driving 150 mph into a concrete wall, yet we're arguing who gets to sit in the front. I find it disturbing that Vallarta and Guadalajara havethis amazing climate with so much sun, yet I can't breathe clean air. Every year the traffic becomes more congested and I can taste the air quality difference. It's disgusting! There is a new Toyota Dealership in Puerto Vallarta but no Prius Hybrid is offered that I can see.
With all of this wonderful sun, why are there not more solar solutions including hot water heating, electricity and electric cars (such as ZENN-Zero Emission No Noise electric car from Toronto, Canada) with recharge stations at the Pemex? I'm sure the majority of people driving in Vallarta and Guadalajara are going no more than 40 to 60 miles a day and I can't believe the amount of SUV/Trucks with one person now on the roads. Perhaps Carlos Slim and his 60 billion plus could help invest in a cleaner Mexico before we all have asthma, cancer, etc.
If the world is our home on a larger scale of which we are guests, we should consider "making the bed, doing the dishes, and washing the floor." It's only fair if we want to stay awhile.
