After seven wonderful months in Ajijic and other Mexican cities, we had to start back to the States on July 31.

Sadly, the Olympics Games are no longer the greatest high-principled sporting event on earth but more of a freak show, sold to corporate sponsors, plagued by cheats, used by scheming politicians, and hosted by imprudent cities that burden their inhabitants with debt for decades to come.
