Nearly 500 teens from Guadalajara’s inner city Preparatoria Jalisco
came to Lakeside for a mass litter cleanup along Ajijic’s waterfront on
Saturday, May 31.
The Consumer Protection Agency (Profeco) is warning shoppers about
higher prices at mom n’ pop grocery stores in Jalisco, which can be as
much as 30 percent more expensive than supermarkets and some other
convenience stores.
Founders of Associacion Comunitaria de Autosuficiencia (ACA) Wendee
Hill and Marie Pruden will host a Summer Eco Discovery Day Camp,
Tuesday, June 10, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at their Eco training center
located just 3.5 kilometers west of San Juan Cosala on the mountain
side of the Ajijic-Jocotepec highway.
