'A delicious exhibit of traditional candy is making mouths water at the Museo Trompo Magico. Even governor Emilio Gonzalez took some time to admire this replica of the San Juan de los Lagos Cathedral made of Alfajor candy, a coconut and condensed milk concoction. Although the tempting treats in the Dulces Jalisco exhibit are not for sale, samples will be available at the museum store. The Trompo Magico Interactive Museum is located on Avenida Central 750, and is open Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturdays, Sundays and holidays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Residencial Poniente, Zapopan (near the Periferico and Av. Aqueducto). Call (33)3030-0038 for more information.
