'Tapatios tired of city hustle and bustle can head to Cajititlan, a village situated on the shores of Chapala's nearby sister lake for the lively fiestas honoring Gaspar, Melchior and Balthazar, Los Santos Reyes (Holy Kings). On Monday, January 7, the images are carted out of the church around 10 a.m. for a cruise around the lake. Then the pueblo will settle down to some good old-fashioned partying. 'The Guadalajara Zoo celebrates 20 years at its present location on the edge of the Barranca de Huentitan after many years in the downtown Parque Agua Azul. The anniversary will be in March 2008, with many special events and presentations building up to the occasion. Among these is the inauguration of the zoo's Animal Investigation Center (CIA), a cutting-edge interactive exhibit that will involve visitors in wildlife management issues and observation. Along with the Safari Masai Mara, the new CIA is a wonderful chance to get up close and personal with the zoo's denizens.
