Jalisco's government oversaw a rather unconventional Mother's Day event in front of the Teatro Degollado last week. Instead of flowers, cards, or serenades, women lined up to be poked and prodded by nurses and doctors – inaugurating Jalisco's month-long breast cancer prevention and women's health campaign.
