In last week’s Letters to the Editor there were well expressed concerns for the Lake Chapala Society (LCS) board.

Marianne Carlson, who just organized and oversaw another beautiful and successful Feria del Maestros del Arte at the Chapala Yacht Club, deserves a huge vote of thanks from all of us who love to see and collect examples of the never-ending creativity of Mexico’s multi-talented artisans.

My sentiments regarding the “agony” of the Lake Chapala Society (LCS) largely coincide with those expressed by Ron Kannick (Letter to the Editor, Guadalajara Reporter, November 1-7).

Dear Sir,

As 12-year members of the Lake Chapala Society, my wife and I have enjoyed the facilities and services and have contributed to many of the activities, which we hope will continue.

Dear Sir,

At the risk of being one of the few lone voices crying out in the wilderness, I am writing to express my support of the current board of the Lake Chapala Society (LCS).
