Four months later, the first visible signs of the new regime are being noted at several Guadalajara area supermarkets, such as this former Gigante store on Avenida Juarez in the city center. |

Grupo Elektra, one of Mexico's leading specialty retailers, and Chinese auto manufacturer FAW have signed a joint-venture agreement to build a 150-million-dollar car plant in the state of Michoacan, with the capacity to produce 100,000 cars annually. |
