Beleaguered low-cost carrier Aerocalifornia is facing a flood of formal complaints after Mexico’s Transportation Ministry suspended the airline Thursday, July 24, for not paying its airport fees.

A new tax of two percent on all cash bank deposits above 25,000 pesos per month came into effect on July 1.
