Members of the Lakeside Garden Guild and several from the Guadalajara Garden Guild received expert tutoring in the art of advanced flower design by Jack Richards, flower designer to the stars, and his longtime friend Herbert Piekow at the Lomas de Ajijic Clubhouse on July 19.

Chapala-area motorists should beware of major traffic detours that will be in effect Saturday, August 2 to make way for more than 500 athletes expected for the 2008 Triathlon competition, jointly organized by the University of Guadalajara physical education department and the Chapala municipal government.
