Benefit dinner concert

A dinner concert for the benefit of Victor Manuel Medeles Romero, who has been diagnosed with cancer, is scheduled for Saturday, May 31, 7:30 p.m. at Terraza los Medeles (across from the Lakeside Mall on the carretera) in Ajijic.

In Guadalajara

German-born Lakeside painter Ute Hagen is included in an exhibition, “Give German Painters,” currently up at the prestigious Galeria Vertice in Guadalajara.

What promises to be a stunning recital in homage to Jalisco’s most celebrated composer, Hermilio Hernandez, is set for Thursday, June 5, 8:30 p.m. at the University of Guadalajara’s Paraninfo Enrique Diaz de Leon located at Avenida Juarez 974 between Calle Escorza and Enrique Diaz de Leon.
