It’s the same old story. Folks who follow driving rules to the ‘nth degree in their own country seem to feel that they are exempt in the new one. Somehow the idea of driving the proper direction on streets marked as “one way” is just too much of a bother.

I’ll keep remarks short this week. Suffice it to say that this wild celebration has taken its toll in terms of time and energy, to say nothing about the confetti I’m still trying to get out of my hair. And by the way, how does that stuff get into your underclothes? Let the good times roll!
